Repeat bookings

The advantage of repeat bookings is having to pay for less advertising. If people have a good time, enjoy the location and experience good weather, they may return the following year.

Some people like variety and never holiday in the same place twice, so even if they have a fabulous time - they won't be back. Others are creatures of habit and like to develop a relationship with an area, get to know a place and feel confident in your standard of accommodation.

Little touches make holidays memorable - a welcome hamper of local goodies, quality toiletries, fresh baked scones and a pot of tea on arrival.  The warmer the welcome, the pleasanter memories of the holiday will be.

 We have known cottage owners to offer the following:

• chocolates on pillows
• bottles of wine
• Champagne for special occasions
• reduced prices for golf and local events

Men and women will recall different things that pleased them. For women it may be scented sachets, pretty china, the decor. I think guys would be impressed by enormous TVs or home cinema systems.
